Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities in the global bunker market to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, brokers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate bunker fuel purchase and sale contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and geopolitical events to inform trading strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as a Diploma in Shipping or a similar qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bunker trading or a related field within the maritime industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the global bunker market, including pricing mechanisms, supply chains, and key players.
