Position Overview
The Bus Transport Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections and monitoring bus transport activities across Dubai to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. The role involves detecting violations, issuing fines, preparing reports, and educating operators on corrective measures in line with RTA s policies.

What You ll Do

* Conduct inspections and monitoring of bus transport operations according to scheduled field visits.
* Detect violations, issue fines, and report breaches through approved channels.
* Verify validity of licenses and compliance of professional practices within the approved scope of authority.
* Report violations related to safety procedures immediately to supervisors.
* Carry out inspections in response to complaints and provide findings to management.
* Utilize modern technology (virtual inspector) for detecting violations.
* Prepare inspection reports, document corrective actions, and submit them to supervisors.
* Educate operators on corrective measures and ensure follow-up during subsequent inspections.
* Participate in RTA committee meetings when required.
* Comply with RTA s information security policies and safeguard sensitive data.
* Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Ideal Profile

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 0 2 years of experience in inspection, compliance, or transport operations.
* Strong observation skills with the ability to detect violations and ensure corrective actions.
* Good communication skills for interacting with operators and preparing reports.
* Ability to work flexible hours and perform field inspections across Dubai.
* Basic computer literacy for electronic reporting and compliance systems.
