Business Analyst Data Finance (Microsoft Fabric / Power BI)

Main tasks:

• Business Needs Analysis - Finance
• Gather and formalize the needs of the Finance teams (financial reporting, performance management, budget control)
• Challenging demands to propose robust and consistent indicators
• Translate these needs into functional and data specifications, adapted to Microsoft Fabric

• Functional Modeling Finance
• Define finance-oriented data models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, financial KPIs)
• Ensure the integration of Finance reference data (charts of accounts, analytical frameworks, IFRS/local reporting)
• Collaborating with Data Engineers to design Finance datasets in the Lakehouse

• Functional management and data quality
• Co-define business management rules and financial data quality rules
• Participate in the validation of Power BI indicators and reports
• Monitor developments and corrections

• Animation and coordination Finance / IT
• Facilitate scoping and validation workshops with the Finance teams (management control, accounting)
• To act as the interface between the finance departments and the Data/IT teams
• Supporting change management around new reporting

Required skills:

• Finance & Data Expertise
• Solid knowledge of corporate finance processes (management control, general and analytical accounting, treasury)
• Ability to model financial indicators and consolidated reports
• Knowledge of BI tools, ideally Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (or a strong interest in them)

• Behavioral skills

• A sense of pedagogy and popularization
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
