Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they effectively communicate key business insights from Vertica data sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex data models within Power BI, optimizing performance and ensuring data accuracy and integrity when working with Vertica databases.
- Create and manage Power BI datasets, establishing data connections to Vertica and implementing data transformations to support reporting needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
· 4-7 years of experience in data visualization using Power BI. · Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate. · Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. · Familiarity with data modeling and visualization best practices. · Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. · Experience to design Dashboard to be compatible with Mobile Devices · Expertise in extracting the data from REST APIs to Power BI Visualization Tool · Strong knowledge in understanding of Database Concepts and Ability to write SQL Queries · Able to Develop Data Models to identify potential opportunities and risks using the data sets · Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing trends or patterns and reports. · Strong hands-on experience in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning). · Experience in Python is an added advantage
