Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD/FRD, user stories).

• Work closely with banks, fintechs, and internal stakeholders to define solutions.

• Drive end-to-end understanding of payment transaction lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement).

• Support implementation of payment switch & gateway integrations.

• Collaborate with tech teams on API integrations and system workflows.

• Handle reconciliation, dispute management, and chargeback processes.

• Ensure compliance with AML/CTF, sanctions, and PEP screening requirements.

• Coordinate and manage UAT cycles, test cases, and defect tracking.

• Perform data analysis (SQL) for validation and reporting.

• Ensure alignment with card schemes (Visa/Mastercard) and UAE payment systems.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong experience in requirement gathering (BRD/FRD, user stories)

• Deep knowledge of payments domain (cards, POS, ATM, online payments)

• Understanding of transaction lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement)

• Experience in payment switch/gateway integrations

• Knowledge of ISO 8583 basics

• Strong stakeholder management (banks, fintechs, vendors)

• Experience with API integrations and system workflows

• Hands-on with SQL / data analysis

• Experience in UAT coordination and defect management

Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)

• Knowledge of reconciliation & chargebacks

• Understanding of AML/CTF compliance, sanctions & PEP screening

• Exposure to UAE payment ecosystem (UAESWITCH, local schemes)

• Familiarity with Visa / Mastercard processing systems

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Basic understanding of microservices architecture
