Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customers for food products across the UAE market.
  • Expand the company's presence among wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and institutional buyers.
  • Actively prospect new accounts through field visits, networking, and industry contacts.
  • Generate and close sales orders for products including rice (various grades including jasmine and parboiled), sugar, pulses, and other packaged or bulk food commodities.
  • Develop relationships with food wholesalers, supermarket chains, retail outlets, Horeca suppliers, corporate buyers (labour camps, catering companies), and community stores.
  • Maintain regular interaction with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Understand customer demand patterns and communicate market intelligence to management.
  • Identify new product opportunities and emerging market trends.
  • Provide feedback regarding pricing, demand patterns, and competitor activity.
  • Coordinate internally regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and logistics.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of orders and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitors and pricing trends in the UAE food trading market.
  • Provide weekly market updates to management.
