Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Development
  • Identify and develop new customers for food products across the UAE market.
  • Expand the company s presence among wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and institutional buyers.
  • Actively prospect new accounts through field visits, networking, and industry contacts.

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate and close sales orders for products including:
  • Rice (various grades including jasmine and parboiled)
  • Sugar
  • Pulses
  • Other packaged or bulk food commodities
  • Develop relationships with:
  • Food wholesalers
  • Supermarket chains
  • Retail outlets
  • Horeca suppliers
  • Corporate buyers (labour camps, catering companies)
  • Community stores

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular interaction with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Understand customer demand patterns and communicate market intelligence to management.

Opportunity Creation

  • Identify new product opportunities and emerging market trends.
  • Provide feedback regarding pricing, demand patterns, and competitor activity.

Order Execution Coordination

  • Coordinate internally regarding:
  • Product availability
  • Pricing
  • Delivery schedules
  • Logistics
  • Ensure timely fulfilment of orders and customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitors and pricing trends in the UAE food trading market.
  • Provide weekly market updates to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in business, Commerce, or related field

  • Strong existing network within UAE food trading market
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
  • Fluent in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu advantage)
