Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new real estate investment opportunities by conducting market research and analyzing potential deals to generate leads.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, investors, brokers, and landowners, to facilitate deal flow.
- Lead the negotiation and structuring of complex real estate transactions, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Prepare and present detailed financial models and investment proposals to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting potential returns and risks.
- Oversee the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, coordinating with legal, financial, and technical teams to assess property viability.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's real estate portfolio and market presence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate market, providing insightful analysis.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their business development efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create and implement effective strategies for promoting new projects and opportunities.
- Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines, proactively addressing any challenges that arise.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as CCIM, CPM, or similar real estate designations, demonstrating industry expertise.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in real estate business development, with a proven track record.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of real estate market dynamics, including investment strategies, valuation, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrates strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and the use of relevant software such as Argus or similar tools is crucial.
- Displays a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
- Demonstrates the ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Native or fluent in English; additional language skills, especially in the local market, are highly advantageous.
