The Business Development Lead for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region plays a crucial role in steering the company's growth and expansion strategies within one of the most dynamic and diverse markets. This position requires a strategic thinker and proactive leader who can identify new business opportunities, cultivate strong relationships with key partners, and drive initiatives that enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the MENA business landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving measurable growth. As a Business Development Lead, you will lead a team, coordinate with various departments, and develop strategies to reach ambitious company goals while adapting to the unique nuances of the MENA region.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market reach in MENA.
- Enhance and nurture relationships with existing partners and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies.
- Create comprehensive business plans to achieve long-term growth objectives.
- Negotiate agreements and contracts with key clients and vendors.
- Monitor and analyze regional sales data to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the regional business development team effectively.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences within MENA.
- Develop and implement robust customer retention strategies and programs.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership review.
- Stay informed about latest developments and shifts in the MENA region market.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development or sales leadership.
- Proven success in driving business growth in the MENA region specifically.
- Strong understanding of the economic and cultural landscape of MENA.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills required.
- Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team under high-pressure conditions.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the MENA region for business purposes.
