Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager Export (Lubricants) to expand our international presence and drive export sales of automotive and industrial lubricants. The role involves identifying new markets, developing distributor networks, managing key international accounts, and achieving export sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute export business strategies for lubricants across assigned international markets
- Identify, appoint, and manage overseas distributors, agents, and channel partners
- Generate new business leads and convert them into long-term commercial relationships
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with international customers
- Achieve export sales targets in volume, revenue, and market expansion
- Conduct market research to analyze competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth export operations
- Handle export documentation, compliance requirements, and international trade regulations
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports for management
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of automotive and industrial lubricants
- Proven experience in international sales / export business development
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of export documentation, Incoterms, and logistics
- Ability to analyze markets and develop growth strategies
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel internationally
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- 5-10 years of experience in export sales, preferably in lubricants, oils, or chemicals
- Valid UAE driving license and own car
- Must be available to join immediately
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience handling markets in Africa, Middle East, Asia, or Latin America
- Established distributor or customer network in international markets
- Experience working with private label / OEM lubricant businesses
