Job Description: Business Development Manager – Digital Twin & Industrial Solutions
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales and growth initiatives for Digital Twin solutions in large cities (Smart City projects) or the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in selling IoT platforms, SCADA systems, and industrial software solutions (e.g., AVEVA, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, GE Digital).
This role requires a deep understanding of digital transformation technologies, excellent customer relationship management, and the ability to drive strategic partnerships with government entities, utilities, and enterprises.
�Key Responsibilities
· Business Development & Sales
o Drive revenue growth by selling Digital Twin solutions, IoT platforms, SCADA, and AVEVA/industrial software.
o Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with government, city authorities, utilities, oil & gas companies, EPCs, and system integrators.
o Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for smart city and oil & gas digitalization projects.
· Client & Market Engagement
o Build and manage relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers in the digital transformation ecosystem.
o Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions integrating Digital Twins, IoT, and SCADA systems.
o Prepare presentations, proposals, and ROI business cases for clients.
· Strategic Growth
o Collaborate with technical teams to design proof-of-concepts and pilot deployments.
o Build partnerships with technology vendors, consultants, and system integrators.
o Monitor market trends, competitors, and government initiatives in Smart Cities and Oil & Gas digital transformation.
�Qualifications & Experience
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
· Experience:
o 7–12 years in business development or sales of Digital Twin, IoT, SCADA, or industrial software solutions.
o Proven track record in Smart City projects, Oil & Gas digital transformation, or large-scale industrial automation.
o Experience with AVEVA, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, GE Digital, or similar software ecosystems.
o Strong knowledge of IoT platforms, industrial connectivity, cloud/edge computing, and AI integration.
· Skills:
o Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closingskills.
o Strong networking ability with government bodies, EPC contractors, and technology partners.
o Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients.
�Preferred Background
· Experience in selling to municipal authorities, utilities, or ministries.
· Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects (airports, ports, energy, utilities, smart cities).
· Understanding of digital transformation frameworks such as Industry 4.0, Smart City standards, and Industrial IoT.
