Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identifying potential clients and building relationships with them through networking, cold calling, and other means.
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Creating and implementing strategic plans to increase sales, revenue, and profitability.
- Developing proposals and presentations for new business opportunities and pitching them to potential clients.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or other advanced degree may be preferred.
- A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing is typically required. Experience in the relevant industry or market is also preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends is essential for success in this role.
- A BDO must be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal departments to achieve company goals.
