About the job:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding the company s client base. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and managing the full sales cycle within a technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to closing deals
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and solution-based sales conversations
  • Collaborate with marketing to align on lead generation campaigns and messaging
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within a tech or SaaS environment

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger)
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
