Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a high-caliber, commercially aware Business Performance & Treasury Lead professional to work directly with the Managing Director in a fast-paced construction environment. The position requires strong ownership, confidence, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insight.


The successful candidate will act as a central point of visibility across projects - ensuring the Managing Director has full clarity on project billings, cash position, collections, contracts, and related key risks at all times.


In addition, this role serves as the right hand to the Managing Director on business performance and cash matters. This is a high-ownership role requiring judgment, initiative, and strong presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Performance Oversight – Invoicing, collections and key risks impacting revenue

  • Collections & Cash Focus (Core) - Track all outstanding invoices across projects, Proactively follow up with internal teams and clients, Escalate delays early and consistently

  • Treasury Visibility - Maintain daily visibility on bank positions, Track and coordinate use of facilities (TRs, guarantees, etc.), Highlight short-term cash risks and propose actions

  • Contracts (High-Level) - Review key contractual documents, Ensure key contractual deliverables and obligations are tracked and actively followed up, Flag risks and summarize implications concisely.

  • MD Office / Right Hand - Act as a central coordination point for the Managing Director, Track priorities, decisions, and key follow-ups across teams, Ensure alignment and timely execution of critical actions, Anticipate needs and prepare ahead of meetings and discussions.


Desired Candidate Profile

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Construction Management, or a related field

  • 5–8+ years' experience in construction / contracting environment

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Project billing cycles and payment certifications

  • BOQs and their link to invoicing and revenue

  • Contractual structures and key commercial terms

  • Cashflow dynamics within construction projects

  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive outcomes independently

  • Confident communicator, comfortable operating under pressure

  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear conclusions

  • Ability to push back with logic and confidence when needed

  • Proactive and solution-oriented - does not wait for instructions

  • Ability to operate as a trusted right hand to senior leadership

  • Strong judgment and prioritization skills
