We are searching for the best talent for Business Unit Manager - Oncology & Hematology in Cairo, Egypt.
Role Summary:
Have full P&L accountability for the assigned Brands/ Portfolio/ Business Unit/ Countries through optimum resource allocation & growing topline
Align the BU cross functional teamwork along with the broader organization to ensure fast, robust & sustainable access to the assigned brands while facilitating the patients journey & driving profitable business growth
Own the pre- launch plans for the upcoming launches within the scope of the Therapeutic Area (TA) to ensure the organizational preparedness & market readiness
Oversight the overall financial & other performance related of the Business Unit with strict adherence & governance to the compliance mandates
Act proactively on capability building within the scope of the business unit to drive the current performance & in anticipation for the future outlook. This includes robust talent management & succession planning
Lead the interface between the cluster Business unit & the Regional & Global counterparties to ensure the proper alignment & conversation as per the corporate direction
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the assigned both marketing & sales organization by building high performance team to ensure solid planning & flawless execution
Develop & rollout effective & efficient marketing strategies & plans & sales tactics & execution metrics along with closely following up the pre- defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Provide the appropriate coaching to the team & to the coaches the coach to ensure sales team/ Field Force impact & development while filling the talents pipeline for the future roles
Follow up on the management of the operation & processes within the assigned scope of the business unit
Play an active role in KOLs/ KDMs engagement to leverage the partnership & gather meaningful insights helping to take the right decisions for the best of the patients & business.
Experience Required
- Education: Relevant university degree in life sciences, A post graduate university degree in Business Administration, Marketing & other relevant fields is advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within commercial functions including people management with a solid track record of achievements.

Technical/Functional Skills Required
- Relevant commercial experience of sales & marketing management working in pharmaceutical industry or health sector is essential.
- Solid people management experience is essential Strong knowledge of the therapeutic area is preferable.
- Sounding track record of success & accomplishments.
- Clear customer centric mindset that prioritizes Execution Excellence & external focused competitiveness.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels within the pharmaceutical industry to include senior health professionals, government figures and board members with an ability to verbalize and write clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrable analytical & strategic skills to reach conclusions & drive directions.
- Excellent numeric skills & Good hand-on at MS Office & different apps.
- Project management experience and ability to meet tight deadlines in a timely and accurate manner with strong attention to details, quality & efficiency.
