Job Description

As a Buyer at our company, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement process, ensuring that the products sourced meet the company s quality standards while aligning with budgetary constraints. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the supply chain activities for timely and cost-effective purchasing. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. This position requires you to stay informed about market trends and emerging products while maintaining up-to-date records of transactions. Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential new suppliers to expand sourcing options.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, delivery times, and price.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers to meet demand.
  • Collaborate with inventory control teams to determine procurement needs.
  • Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance metrics.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistency in quality.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain inventory levels.
  • Work closely with the finance team to verify invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in procurement.
  • Utilize purchasing software and ERP systems to optimize procurement processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier agreements.
  • Familiarity with purchasing software and supply chain management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills for managing multiple purchases.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing suppliers and market trends effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
