Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IFRS standards, focusing on JAFZA-specific financial reporting requirements.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, tailored for JAFZA regulations.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying and investigating discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures, with a focus on operational efficiency within the JAFZA environment.
  • Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections, optimizing cash flow management within JAFZA's operational context.
  • Prepare and review budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and strategic planning, specifically tailored to the JAFZA business model.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Possesses a CA (Chartered Accountant) certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in JAFZA, demonstrating familiarity with the free zone's specific financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamic 365), enhancing efficiency in financial operations.
