Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cable Jointer with experience in low voltage (0.4 kV) systems to perform cable jointing and termination works. The candidate must have hands-on experience with modern testing instruments and be capable of working in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 0.4 kV (Low Voltage) cable jointing and termination works.
  • Utilize modern test instruments for jointing and termination activities.
  • Work on low-voltage cables, substations, and distribution panels.
  • Generate and maintain site reports using digital tools.
  • Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and procedures.
  • Support maintenance and operational activities within the LV network.
  • Be flexible to work in rotational shifts (24/7 operations).

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with cable jointing techniques and termination practices.
  • Experience in handling modern testing instruments.
  • Understanding of substations and distribution panels.
  • Ability to prepare digital reports and documentation.
  • Awareness of safety practices and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate / ITI in Electrical OR
  • DEWA-authorized Cable Jointing Certificate

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical experience in:
    • 0.4 kV low voltage cable jointing
    • Cable termination works

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (round the clock)
