Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the cameraman in setting up and preparing camera equipment for news bulletins, live broadcasts, and recorded news segments.
  • Support the setup of tripods, lighting, microphones, and other technical equipment to ensure optimal shooting conditions in studio or field environments.
  • Help manage and maintain camera gear, ensuring all equipment is properly handled, organized, and ready before each broadcast or shoot.
  • Coordinate with cameramen and studio teams to ensure cameras are correctly positioned and aligned with the production requirements.
  • Assist during live news broadcasts and recordings by adjusting equipment, managing cables, and supporting technical needs to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure safe transportation, storage, and basic maintenance of camera equipment in accordance with company procedures and broadcast standards.
