Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily camp operations and ensure all facilities are maintained to high standards, creating a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.
  • Coordinate logistics for food services, ensuring meal plans meet dietary requirements and are delivered efficiently to all camp attendees.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all camp residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Manage staff schedules and workloads, fostering a collaborative team environment while ensuring adequate coverage for all camp activities.
  • Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures, conducting regular drills and training sessions for both staff and residents.
  • Maintain inventory and procurement of supplies, ensuring the camp is well-stocked and prepared for daily operations and emergencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of camp facilities to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors.
  • Develop and manage budgets for camp operations, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining quality services.
  • Facilitate recreational and educational activities, promoting engagement and community-building among camp residents.
  • Compile reports on camp operations, performance metrics, and resident feedback to inform future improvements and strategic planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, showcasing a solid educational foundation.
  • 5+ years of work experience in camp management or a similar role, demonstrating proven leadership and operational expertise.
  • Certifications in First Aid and CPR are mandatory, ensuring the safety and well-being of all camp residents.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting, highlighting strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus for diverse camp populations and better communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling efficient camp operations and high-quality service delivery.
