We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Mechanics/Car Electric Technician for one of our top international Car Services Client (Garage)in Al Ain. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of modern vehicles, particularly high-end German automobiles that rely on advanced electrical and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in vehicle electrical systems, with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing complex wiring, sensors, control modules, and integrated technologies such as the Global Positioning System (GPS). As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in maintaining vehicle functionality, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting the seamless operation of our service center. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults in vehicles, with a focus on German-made models (e.g., BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen).
• Perform inspections, repairs, and replacements of vehicle electrical components including alternators, starters, batteries, wiring harnesses, fuses, relays, and sensors.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and scan tools to interpret fault codes and assess system performance across multiple vehicle subsystems.
• Install, calibrate, and repair GPS navigation systems, infotainment units, and telematics modules.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and diagnostic procedures in the service management system.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate resolution of electrical issues.
• Stay current with evolving automotive electrical technologies, manufacturer-specific updates, and service bulletins.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and workshop protocols during all repair activities.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems, preferably with German vehicles.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, including 12V/24V systems, CAN bus networks, and power distribution.
• Experience with GPS systems integration, calibration, and repair in modern vehicles.
• Familiarity with manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools (e.g., ISTA, Xentry, VCDS).
• Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, circuit testing, and component-level repairs.
• Valid driving license and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented workshop environment.
