Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring comfort and dignity for each client.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques to promote safety and prevent injury to both the caregiver and the patient.
  • Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, reporting any changes to nursing staff or family members promptly.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to schedules and documenting administration accurately to maintain proper records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or nursing assistance are highly desirable.
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program, demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills in patient care.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications, ensuring preparedness for emergency situations and the safety of clients.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a caregiving or healthcare role, showcasing practical skills and understanding of patient needs.
