Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Cargo Pricing Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling Emirates SkyCargo spot and ad-hoc pricing requests from the global SkyCargo network and Interline partners. Evaluate all relevant factors and apply the Pricing Manager strategy to provide accurate rate quotations, ensuring optimal pricing and revenue outcomes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Pricing, Capcon, EK station teams, and Interline partners, while maintaining a timely and adaptable approach in responding to multiple concurrent requests.

In this role, you will;

  • Analyse spot and ad-hoc rate requests from the SkyCargo network and Interline partners using all available decision support tools to determine the appropriate rate, taking into consideration costs and minimum requirements.
  • Adhere to Spot Desk Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring all ad-hoc requests are processed within the set timelines.
  • Evaluate performance and highlight areas requiring attention to the Pricing Manager, enabling appropriate actions in line with the pricing strategies defined for the station/region.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Manager/Analyst on market trends and demand that may impact rate offers.
  • Support the Pricing Manager in coordinating Requests for Quote, allotment finalization, and other pricing/system related activities.
  • Work closely with CAPCON/Freighter teams to ensure capacity is offered at a premium while steering stations to align with the defined commercial and pricing strategy.
  • Support overall Pricing team functions, including generating, maintaining, and collating reports to facilitate data driven decision making.

Desired Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below.

  • 12 years or schooling or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in Cargo, Logistics, Airline, Reservations, or Call Centre roles.
  • Background in a commercial work environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cargo rates, charges, rules, regulations, cargo reservations, and operational procedures.
  • Capable in using Windows and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to adapt quickly to tools like MicroStrategy, Power BI, and Salesforce.
