Roles & Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer, minimizing discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting store loyalty programs.
- Scan items and apply discounts or promotions as applicable, ensuring accurate pricing and total amounts.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, showcasing basic math skills and ability to handle cash responsibly.
Previous cashier or retail experience preferred, ideally 1-2 years in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications in customer service or cash handling can set candidates apart in the hiring process.
Experience in the retail or food service industry, demonstrating adaptability to various customer scenarios.
