Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience:

  • 0 2 years of experience in cash handling, accounting, or related financial functions
  • On-the-job training will be provided

Skills / Attributes:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems and financial/accounting software
  • Good communication skills in both Arabic and English
  • Basic computer literacy (data entry, Excel, financial systems)
  • Discipline, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Receive cash or checks from customers and suppliers, ensuring accuracy against related invoices and receipts.
  • Issue receipts for all incoming payments and record them promptly in the financial system.
  • Disburse authorized payments in accordance with approved procedures and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Reconcile and prepare daily cash collections for submission to the Finance Department or bank as per defined processes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all daily cash transactions for easy retrieval and auditing.
  • Verify daily cash balances and ensure they match the accounting system records.
  • Report immediately any discrepancies or errors in financial transactions to the direct supervisor.
  • Adhere to financial and cash-handling policies to ensure security, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Support in improving cash handling procedures and ensure timely, accurate service to internal and external customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Diploma (minimum requirement)
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
