Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurately operate cash registers, handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision to minimize discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Scan items swiftly and accurately, verifying prices and ensuring proper application of discounts and promotions, reducing checkout time and improving customer experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering their questions, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally, building customer loyalty.
  • Bag groceries efficiently and carefully, ensuring items are packed appropriately to prevent damage, demonstrating attention to detail and consideration for the customer's purchases.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, providing a foundational level of education.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred, showing familiarity with the industry.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately are essential, ensuring financial responsibility.
