Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Create complex 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using CATIA V5/V6
Develop Class-A surfaces for automotive/aerospace components
Perform GD&T implementation and tolerance analysis
Collaborate with engineering teams on product development cycles
Generate manufacturing-ready designs for CNC, molding, and fabrication
Conduct design validation and simulation (kinematics, FEA)
Maintain version control and design documentation
Stay updated with latest CATIA features and industry trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years professional CATIA experience (certification preferred)
Expertise In
- Part Design & Assembly
- Generative Shape Design
- Sheet Metal Design
- DMU Kinematics
- Composites Design (advantageous)
- Automotive/Aerospace design standards
- Manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding)
- Materials science
- PLM/PDM systems (ENOVIA preferred)
- Other CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX)
