Job Title: Charge Nurse Nursing Administration & Quality

Location: United Arab Emirates

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse with expertise in Nursing Administration and Quality Management to lead and coordinate nursing operations in compliance with UAE healthcare standards. The role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure optimal staffing levels in assigned units.
  • Monitor compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, DOH, DHA).
  • Implement and audit quality improvement programs, infection control measures, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
  • Coordinate training and professional development programs for nurses.
  • Review and analyze clinical data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Handle incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for nursing administration and quality committees.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master s in Nursing or Healthcare Management (preferred).
  • Licensure: Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license or eligibility in the UAE.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership or charge nurse role.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • Certification in Quality Management or Healthcare Leadership (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, clinical governance, and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
