Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced and passionate Chefs and Chef Assistants specialized in Indian, Emirati, and Gulf cuisine to join our hospitality team in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The ideal candidates will have strong skills in preparing traditional dishes, including Karak, Paratah, and local Emirati specialties, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Selected candidates will undergo 1-month training in the UAE before relocation.
Desired Candidate Profile
For Chef: • Prepare and cook authentic Indian, Emirati, and Gulf dishes, including traditional meals, desserts, and beverages (Karak, Paratah, etc.). • Develop daily menus and ensure consistency in taste and quality. • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with UAE and Bosnia regulations. • Supervise and train Chef Assistants. • Monitor ingredient inventory and coordinate with suppliers for quality ingredients. For Chef Assistant: • Support the Chef in daily food preparation and kitchen duties. • Clean, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking. • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen tools, surfaces, and storage areas. • Assist in plating and serving dishes. • Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times. • Help in inventory checks and kitchen organization
Requirements: • Proven experience in cooking Indian and Gulf cuisine. • Knowledge of Karak, Paratah, and traditional UAE dishes. • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Flexibility to relocate to Bosnia & Herzegovina after training. • Positive attitude, discipline, and adaptability to new environments. ⸻ Employment Details: • Contract Location: Bosnia & Herzegovina • Training: 1 month in the UAE before deployment • Working Days: 6 days per week • Day Off: 1 day per week • Salary: AED 3,000 per month • Accommodation & Meals: Provided by company
