Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and create innovative recipes that reflect the restaurant’s culinary vision, including UAE traditional dishes (such as Regag bread, Khameer, Jabab, Paratha, Mhala, and Luqaimat) and international favorites (such as burgers, pasta, and Waraq Enab). Supervise the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes, ensuring consistency, quality, and exceptional visual presentation. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and food handling in compliance with UAE regulations. Manage kitchen inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste through proper planning and stock management. Train, lead, and motivate kitchen staff to foster teamwork, discipline, and efficiency in daily operations. Collaborate with management on menu planning, seasonal offerings, and new product development. Stay updated with modern culinary trends and be willing to learn and adapt new recipes and techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile

Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution (preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or café, preferably in the UAE. Strong knowledge of Emirati traditional cuisine and Italian/continental dishes. Proven creativity in recipe development, presentation, and flavor combination. Certified in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent). Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills. Passion for cooking, innovation, and continuous learning.
