Job description

As part of the development of its activities and the strengthening of its teams, the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech is recruiting a Levantine Chef.

Main missions

Design, develop and highlight a representative menu of Levantine cuisines, while respecting the quality standards of the hotel.

Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes, guaranteeing consistency, authenticity and culinary excellence.

Coaching, training and motivating the kitchen team, developing their technical skills and team spirit.

Ensure the rigorous application of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness (HACCP) standards.

Manage supplies, inventory and cost control.

Participate in the development of special offers, banquets and thematic events.

Work closely with F&B management, food and beverage and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Monitor and analyze the restaurant's performance and contribute to the achievement of financial objectives.

Be a driving force for culinary innovation and process optimization.

Desired profile

Diploma in culinary arts or equivalent training.

Significant experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a recognized Levantine or Mediterranean restaurant, ideally in international hospitality.

In-depth mastery of the techniques, recipes and flavors of Levantine cuisine.

Ability to manage a brigade and work in a demanding environment.

Strong knowledge of cost management, menu planning and production organization.

Sense of leadership, spirit of innovation, creativity and passion for the profession.

Good communication skills, fluency in French and English (any other language is an asset).
