Responsibilities
  • Coordinate communication between kitchen staff and serving staff during service periods.
  • Ensure each dish meets presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen.
  • Work closely with chefs to maintain menu integrity and authentic cuisine representation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pass station at all times during service.
  • Assist chefs in the kitchen with preparation tasks as needed during peak times.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to improve kitchen efficiency and service quality.
  • Monitor kitchen order tickets to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes.
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Handle guest feedback effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction with food quality.
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve execution and overall dining experience.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with management on special menu items and seasonal promotions.

Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Pass or similar culinary position.
  • Strong expertise in Italian cuisine and preparation techniques is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills to effectively oversee kitchen and service coordination.
  • High attention to detail to ensure dishes meet established quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills to facilitate clear instructions between teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance.
