Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring that all meals meet the restaurant's standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including adhering to food safety regulations and proper storage methods for ingredients.
  • Support the senior chefs by preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and marinating, to streamline the cooking process.
  • Monitor stock levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages or issues to ensure the smooth operation of meal service.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution, demonstrating formal training in cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, showcasing the ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations in food preparation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, with additional language skills considered an asset for diverse kitchen environments.
