Roles & Responsibilities

Healthy Café Chef (Specialist in Nutritious & Diet Meals)
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Healthy Café Chef who specializes in preparing nutritious, balanced, and innovative meals. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of healthy cooking techniques, diet-based meals, and modern café trends.
Prepare and present healthy meals including salads, bowls, smoothies, and detox juices

Responsibilities

  • Develop meal plans focusing only health

  • Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards

  • Innovate new healthy recipes and seasonal menu items

  • Monitor stock levels and manage kitchen inventory

  • Work closely with nutritionists to align meals with health goals

  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness as per Oman municipality standards

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Chef in a healthy café, wellness restaurant, or diet-focused kitchen

  • Strong knowledge of healthy cooking methods (low-calorie, keto, vegan, gluten-free, high-protein diets)

  • Experience in preparing salads, smoothie bowls, detox juices, and functional beverages

  • Good understanding of nutrition basics, calorie control, and portion management

  • Ability to create and innovate healthy menu items based on current food trends

  • Familiar with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Positive attitude with passion for health, fitness, and clean eating

  • GCC experience is an added advantage

  • Culinary certification or diploma is preferred
