Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Missions:
The chief accountant translates all of the company's activity into figures. He is responsible for the hotel's team of accountants.
Main responsibilities:
- Record supplier and customer invoices and track receipts and disbursements.
- Collect and edit summary documents concerning the company's financial information: depreciation, forecasts, adjustments, income taxes.
- Periodically performs reconciliation statements and balances
- Prepare the hotel's balance sheet and income statement.
- Prepare the pre-consolidation reporting and balance sheet.
- D detects errors and searches for sources of information
- Advises and develops contacts with operational staff
- Ensures the reliability of accounting information.
- Respects internal and external deadlines.
- Knows how to identify and escalate the elements that are causing problems.
- Verifies the accounts prepared by the accountants.
- Manages all the accountants and ensures the smooth operation of the team.
