Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial reports and analyze financial performance.

• Monitor and control daily expenses and revenues across branches.

• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and inventory from both accounting and operational perspectives.

• Contribute to developing internal systems and procedures.

• Coordinate with operational departments to ensure cost efficiency.

• Report directly to senior management and provide regular updates.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our finance operations and ensure the integrity of financial data, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting. Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in Odoo ERP and the Retail sector. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and review daily accounting activities Oversee financial reporting: monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) Manage internal controls and audit processes Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Handle VAT filing, payroll, and reconciliations Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and procurement teams Maintain and optimize the Odoo ERP accounting workflows Preferred Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred) Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience Experience with Odoo ERP is a strong advantage Background in the Retail industry is highly preferred Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Should be able to join immediately Competitive salary based on experience and competency
