Roles & Responsibilities

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Finance departments (Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, Purchasing, Cost Control) and ensure compliance with all accounting, legal and Group standards

  • Be the guarantor of the hotel's performance, inform and challenge the other departments in order to meet the owners' expectations in terms of asset performance

  • Control investments (CAPEX) and ensure rigorous cash management

  • Ensure clear and effective communication of financial information and maintain excellent relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders (Owners, Accor Operations teams, Accor Finance teams, external auditors, etc.)

  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings in accordance with deadlines and using the tools defined by Accor

  • Analyze and make accounting information reliable in order to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports

  • Update accounting and internal control processes

  • Be responsible for all internal and external reporting (daily, weekly, monthly and annual)

  • Supervise the preparation of financial audits and coordinate the audit process

  • Develop and manage the 5-year strategic plan, the annual budget and monthly forecasts in collaboration with the various departments

  • Support the operational departments by providing advice, recommendations and solutions aimed at improving overall performance (revenues, costs, etc.)

  • In collaboration with the Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management departments, analyze commercial performance and competitive trends in order to define tactical recommendations and strategies for the short, medium and long term

  • Ensure accounting migration and the implementation of new tools (management of dematerialized flows, etc.) when relevant and necessary

  • Ensure compliance with all security policies related to PCI and GDPR regulations

  • Supervise issues related to Purchasing and IT (purchase optimization, IT compliance, GDPR, PCI, etc.)

Desired Candidate Profile

An experience in a similar position within the hotel industry, ideally in luxury hotels, is an asset

  • Knowledge of USALI accounting standards
  • Mastery of Microsoft Windows applications and other relevant tools/applications
  • University degree in a field of study related to the position
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High sense of responsibility and reliability, with proven leadership qualities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
