About the Role:
Our client, a fast-growing trading firm, is seeking a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead its marketing department during a high-growth phase. With a current team of 25 employees and plans to expand to 35 within six months, this role requires a strategic, data-driven leader who can develop and execute high-impact digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and community growth. Candidates with proven experience in the trading or proprietary trading sector will be prioritised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the marketing department, driving strategy, execution, and performance across all channels.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns via Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, podcasts, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Align marketing initiatives with overall business growth objectives in close collaboration with leadership.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team to achieve KPIs.
  • Analyse campaign metrics, optimise performance, and ensure strong ROI across all activities.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction to strengthen market presence.
  • Identify and implement new trends, tools, and channels to maximise exposure and engagement.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts comply with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in digital marketing with measurable results.
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Experience in trading or proprietary trading firms is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, content marketing, podcasts, and social media growth.
  • Passion for trading, financial markets, and the prop trading model.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven success in fast-paced, scaling environments.
