Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for diverse civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, buildings, and site development, leveraging advanced estimating software and techniques.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to accurately determine labor, material, and equipment costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs, ensuring precision in measurements and calculations to support accurate bidding and cost control.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information, clarify project scope, and resolve any discrepancies in the project documents.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering and construction estimating.
- Proven experience in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On Center Software, Trimble), and MS Office Suite.
