Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, drainage systems, utilities, and other infrastructure works.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project reports.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and verify compliance with design and safety standards.
- Perform structural calculations, load assessments, and analysis under supervision (for junior candidates).
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist in project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- Support in preparing technical proposals, cost estimations, and tender documents.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Participate in troubleshooting construction issues and recommending engineering solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UAE National Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Location: Dubai or Northern Emirates
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 0 4 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or consulting (freshers may apply).
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, structural concepts, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, MS Project, Civil 3D, or related tools (as applicable).
- Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities, good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or hands-on experience in civil engineering projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards.
- Familiarity with project management principles.
