• Prepare and present detailed project bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Review and validate contractors bids ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
• Identify and assess potential project risks related to cost estimates and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Keep abreast of market trends and apply latest information to forecast cost implications accurately.
• Conduct site visits to ascertain site-specific conditions influencing cost estimates and budgets.
• Manage change orders by providing updated estimates and justifications as necessary.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure material and supply cost controls are in place.
• Monitor actual project costs and track progress against estimates to ensure fiscal accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in civil estimating or a related role is highly preferred.
• Proficient in cost estimating software and industry-standard tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to handle complex calculations and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
