Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Civil Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of buildings and housing complexes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands‑on experience in managing civil maintenance operations. This role requires a proactive professional with excellent resource management skills and a solid understanding of maintenance planning, estimation, and execution. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.


  1. Supervise day‑to‑day civil maintenance activities across buildings and housing complexes.

  2. Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

  3. Inspect facilities regularly to identify structural issues, safety risks, and maintenance needs.

  4. Oversee repair works related to masonry, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and other civil trades.

  5. Lead and coordinate maintenance teams, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower and materials.

  6. Monitor performance of technicians and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

  7. Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff.

  8. repare accurate estimates for civil works, including materials, labor, and timelines.

  9. Review and verify contractor quotations, BOQs, and cost proposals.

  10. Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance projects.

  11. Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  12. Prepare scope of work documents for civil maintenance projects.

  13. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and material usage.

  14. Generate periodic reports for management review.

  15. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

  16. Conduct site safety checks and promote safe working practices.

  17. Coordinate with HSE teams during inspections and audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in general maintenance of buildings or housing complexes.

  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

  3. Experience in the UAE is highly preferred.

  4. Must possess a valid UAE driving license.

  5. Strong resource management and team leadership skills.

  6. Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation.

  7. Ability to prepare scope of work and maintenance schedules.

  8. Good command of MS Office and familiarity with maintenance documentation.

  9. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

  10. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
