Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate submitted claims for accuracy, completeness, and validity, ensuring all required documentation is present and compliant with policy guidelines.
  • Investigate discrepancies and gather additional information from claimants, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties to facilitate a thorough claim assessment.
  • Determine claim eligibility based on policy terms, coverage details, and applicable regulations, ensuring fair and accurate claim adjudication.
  • Calculate benefit payments accurately, applying appropriate coding, pricing, and contractual agreements to finalize claim settlements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Holds a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in claims processing, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using claims processing software, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant technologies.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance claim processes.
