Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure adherence to established standards of cleanliness and safety across all facilities.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules that maximize productivity while accommodating facility usage.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate cleaning staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Perform regular inspections of areas to identify cleaning needs and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked, maintained, and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule deep cleaning and maintenance activities without disrupting operational flow.
- Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to cleaning services promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and manage cleaning budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective practices.
- Implement training programs focused on proper cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations in cleaning technologies to improve service quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in cleaning management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facility management industry.
- Experience in managing teams, with a proven ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of employees.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, alongside their safety protocols, is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with different departments.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Proficient in basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory management.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage, especially in multicultural environments.
- Valid driver's license preferred for potential off-site responsibilities or supply management.
