Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' nutritional needs by reviewing medical records, conducting interviews, and performing physical assessments to create personalized nutrition care plans.
  • Develop and implement customized dietary plans, considering medical conditions, food allergies, and patient preferences, to optimize health outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on nutrition principles, disease-specific diets, and healthy eating habits to promote self-management and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust dietary plans as needed, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and making evidence-based recommendations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in nutrition science and best practices through continuing education and professional development.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate at least 1-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with exposure to diverse patient populations.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy principles and practices.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Have fluency in English, with additional language proficiency being a plus.
