Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Cloud Architect Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions. You will play a key role in our cloud strategy, modernization initiatives, and digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud adoption strategies including migration of existing systems to cloud platforms
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems
• Evaluate cloud providers and services, recommending best-fit solutions
• Define cloud architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Conduct cost analysis and optimize cloud spending
• Document cloud architectures, workflows, and policies
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to automate and streamline operations
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 815 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 6+ years in cloud architecture roles
• Proven experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies including containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and microservices
• Expertise in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud security
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch)
• Knowledge of data storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments.
  

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures is a plus
• Ability to lead complex cloud migration and modernization projects
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
