Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a GCP SQL Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing and managing data pipelines in advanced cloud environments. You will work on ambitious projects for French and/or nearshore clients, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet their data needs.

Main missions

  • Master and optimize databases with SQL:

    • Manipulation des donn es (DML) : SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE.

    • Cr ation et gestion de sch mas (DDL) : CREATE TABLE, ALTER TABLE.

  • Participate in data modeling:

    • Knowledge of canvas and snowflake models (canvas = ++).

  • Design and optimize complex data pipelines.

  • Work on Public Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).

  • Leverage and optimize tools such as:

    • Google BigQuery (must have).

    • Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, SQL Server.

    • Data Build Tool (DBT) (must have).

    • Apache Airflow (nice to have).

    • Pipelines CI/CD.

  • Collaborate with French and/or nearshore clients to tailor solutions to their needs.

  • Experience: 3 7 years in a similar position.

  • Comp tences techniques :

    • Advanced SQL (DML and DDL).

    • Experiment in data modeling.

    • Proven practice of Google BigQuery and DBT (must).

    • Knowledge of additional tools: Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse.

    • Experience with multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).

    • Practice with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Personal Skills:

    • Ability to work in a team and with French clients.

    • Analytical mind and sense of detail.

    • Good communication in French (oral and written).
