Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Cloud ERP Solution Advisor, your primary focus will be to articulate and demonstrate the value of SAP S/4HANA in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Sales & Service, and R&D domains. This Solution Advisor would possess expert-level knowledge of end-to-end operational processes, SAP industry best practices, and the functional depth of S/4HANA LoB solutions (Manufacturing, EAM, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Execution, Field Service, R&D/PLM). In this role, the Solution Advisor will be asked to learn how these pillars integrate with the full SAP Business Suite framework and showcase the value to both the C Suite and Office the COO.
The Solution Advisor interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions. The primary role of the Solution Advisor during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that the SAP solution can solve the customer s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. During these cycles they may also take on the role of a Solution/Deal Captain. In addition to deal support, a Solution Advisor collaborates with Sales and Industry Value Engineering teams to plan and execute business development strategies using Design Thinking tools and techniques.
The Solution Advisor is knowledgeable in industry business processes and adoption of new technologies. Additional value would be derived from having experience with cloud implementation best practice
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong presentation and communication skills with executive presence - SAP training on Best Run Demos or Solution Selling preferred
- SAP product experience or 3-5 years relevant experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Sales Operations, inventory management, procurement, manufacturing, and quality management. (if you are familiar with SAP acronyms: SD, MM, WM, PP, QM..etc.)
- SAP product experience in Cloud ERP and/or selling into both Corporate and Enterprise customers across industries
- Experience in core business transformations and ERP implementations
- Focus on creating compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions
- Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and ensure they are at the center of recommended solutions
- Passion and energy in all customer interactions
