Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Sales & Business Development

    • Develop and grow sales of green coffee (bulk containers and specialty lots) across the

    UAE market.

    • Identify, approach, and onboard new customers including:

    • Small & medium coffee roasters

    • Large industrial roasters

    • Café chains & specialty cafés

    • Distributors & traders

    • Hotels, restaurants & HoReCa clients

    • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, client meetings, sampling,

    price negotiation, and deal closure.

    • Promote direct-origin sourcing capabilities and differentiate products based on

    origin, grade, cup profile, and consistency.

    Account Management & Client Support

    • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat

    and contract-based business.

    • Act as a trusted advisor by educating clients on:

    • Green coffee origins, varieties, grades, and harvest cycles

    • Specialty coffee attributes and quality expectations

    • Price movements and market trends

    • Coordinate samples, cupping sessions, and feedback with quality and operations

    teams.

    • Resolve client issues related to quality, delivery schedules, or documentation.

    Market Intelligence & Strategy

    • Monitor UAE and regional coffee market trends, competitor pricing, and

    customer demand.

    • Support management with sales forecasts, pricing input, and market intelligence.

    • Represent the company at coffee exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events

    when required.

    Logistics & Coordination

    • Coordinate closely with logistics and operations teams on:

    • Shipment schedules

    • Port arrivals

    • Documentation and delivery timelines

    • Ensure smooth execution of import/export procedures and timely

    communication with customers.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

    • Volume sold (containers & metric tons)

    • Specialty coffee sales growth and margin contribution

    • Number of new accounts onboarded

    • Client retention and repeat business rate

    • Accuracy of sales forecasts and CRM reporting

    • Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution



Desired Candidate Profile

  • Skills & Competencies: Required - Must-Have Requirements

    • 3–5 years of experience in green coffee, commodities, or B2B food & beverage

    sales.

    • Strong understanding of green coffee trade, including bulk and specialty

    segments.

    • Existing contacts within the UAE coffee industry (roasters, traders, HoReCa

    buyers).

    • Import/export knowledge, especially related to coffee shipments.

    • UAE driving license (mandatory).

    • Knowledge of SCA standards, cupping, and quality evaluation.

    • Ability to communicate in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

    Personal & Professional Skills

    • Strong negotiation and closing skills

    • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities

    • Target-driven, self-motivated, and commercially focused

    • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently

    • Comfortable with field sales and regular client visits

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related

    field preferred.

    • SCA certifications or coffee-specific training will be an added advantage.
