Job Description

A Commercial Account Executive plays a pivotal role in the sales and client relations strategy within an organization. Their primary task is to identify new business opportunities and to build relationships with clients to increase sales. They are adept at understanding customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. Commercial Account Executives work closely with various departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that offerings align with customer expectations. Successful Commercial Account Executives are proactive, skilled negotiators who have the ability to influence decision-makers and provide high levels of service. Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align client requirements with product offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve sales goals and maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and customer feedback.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed about new products and services to better serve clients' needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Forecast sales trends and manage budgets to optimize business strategies.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote company offerings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive or similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets consistently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
